Fashion is inspired by everything from the rain forrest to graffiti.  When it comes to going out to celebrate life most people like to turn it up on their fashion to show off their best!  Discos, parties and festivals that have been held that basically changed the way people party inspired me.  But these three events below from over 30 years ago really put a stamp on the fashion game!  If you plan on going to a good party this summer and need to get inspired, take a look at what inspired us!

# 1 Studio 54 - Studio 54 was a nightclub in New York City that opened was open from 1977 to 1980.  If you do a little research...you'll see the club was known for sex, drugs, and rock n' roll stories.  But there's something else this club is well known for and that is fashion!  The women who got their disco on during this time really knew how to make anything look sexy!  Here's a glimpse of some of the styles that were caught on camera!

# 2 Woodstock Music Festival - The Woodstock Music was August of 1969 in Bethel, NY.  This festival was also known for its' sex, drugs, rock n' roll, mud (yes, mud) and fashion!  The women of this hippie culture really showed how to commit to the boho look!

#3- The Roaring 20s - The 1920s were nicknamed The Roaring 20s because extraordinary changes that were making make waves socially and politically.  One of the most dramatic was with women...which they called flappers.  They were basically the rebels.  They were women who drank, smoked and wore what they wanted!  Flappers were all about the glam...lace, chiffon, fur, sequin, and all things glam!

Who would've thought they were doing it like this, huh?  Feeling inspired??
